Is thrifty nifty?...

So today wandering around London I found the cutest little vintage thrift shop, called Beyond Retro. They had everything: from American jock remade jumpers to British bowler hats and 60's sunglasses to 80's velvet dresses.

But do people still appreciate the clothes compared to high street fashion?

In my opinion, these clothes are timeless. Every single piece of clothing in this shop had been filtered down into high street clothing anyway; so why pay for copies when you could have the original? The vintage clothing had much more character and certainly were so pretty and chic in there own right. Also the shop its self was like a maze of bright floral & aztec patterns with splashes of bohemian print that just finished off the mood of the quirky little shop. The shop was also set out into sections, there was the section of everyday attire that included: denim jackets, denim tie up shirts, edited levis & over sized tees. However the other part of the shop was like a blend of glitter and flowing chiffon! it was filled with elegant gowns to halter neck party dresses that sat so perfectly next to huge fluffy petticoat skirts in every colour. Amazingly they were so reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend you take a sneak peak at this shop.
 It's beautiful.
